A two-day assessment for couples weighing up timing, IVF, or preservation — the diagnostic work that determines what is actually possible, before any treatment is chosen.

Why guests do this in China
- The diagnostics come first. A single cycle of tests determines whether IVF is even the right answer, which is often not the case at the first consultation.
- Both partners in two days. Semen analysis, hormone panels and imaging for a couple run in parallel rather than across months of separate appointments.
- Protocol based on your numbers. You leave with a written assessment of realistic options and, where relevant, a proposed protocol — not a sales pitch for the most expensive route.
How it works, day by day
- Day 1 morning — Her hormone panel and AMH, antral follicle count, uterine assessment; his semen analysis.
- Day 1 afternoon — His hormone panel and ultrasound; carrier and infectious disease screening for both.
- Day 2 morning — Joint reproductive endocrinology consultation with a written options assessment and, if appropriate, a protocol outline.

Frequently asked questions
What does a checkup in China cost?
We quote on request. Chinese hospitals set self-pay rates individually depending on the modules selected and the hospital tier, so a published figure would be misleading for most guests. Send us the package you are interested in and we return a written, itemised quote within 24 hours — hospital fees, English report, interpreter and transfers all listed separately, before you book anything.
How long do the results take?
Hormone results are usually same-day, semen analysis within 24 hours, and karyotype or carrier screening within about two weeks. Where tests run past your departure we send them to you directly.
Is this assessment suitable if we have not decided on treatment?
That is exactly who it is designed for. Many couples complete an assessment and then wait a year, with the numbers to make the decision properly when the time comes.
Can we do this as a single person?
Yes. Egg-freezing candidates in particular come alone, and the assessment adapts to one partner.
